Context

The project

The project joined product discovery with the realities of a catalog exceeding 11,000 items. A visitor looking for a connector, adapter, or cable assembly needs to move from a broad family to a precise part without losing the technical context. The website also needed automated tagging and connected product data rather than a collection of isolated pages.

Product perspective

The problem behind the pages

The interesting product problem was the handoff from exploration to a specific part. A catalog this broad has to help an engineer narrow the field while preserving specifications and a route to availability. That relationship between navigation, content, and connected data shaped the delivery work.

My role

What I brought together

I led an eight-person team from discovery through design, development, SEO, content, and launch. My responsibility was to keep the catalog experience, tag automation, availability API, and ERP connection moving as one delivery effort.

The website launched with the catalog and its connected product information. The work combined a public-facing discovery experience with the less visible systems that keep product details useful.
