Abracon E-Commerce
Connecting product discovery on Abracon’s website with an online purchasing route through DigiKey e-commerce functionality.
Context
The project
Abracon serves engineers evaluating timing, RF and antenna, power, and magnetics components. The challenge for this project was to bring a commerce path into a product-led site so visitors could move from finding a component to taking the next buying step.
Product perspective
The problem behind the pages
A useful commerce experience begins before the cart. Engineers first need to locate a viable part and understand its fit. The product story is the transition from technical discovery to an actionable buying path, while keeping those two needs connected.
My role
What I brought together
I led a five-person team through discovery, design, development, SEO, content, and launch for the DigiKey e-commerce product implementation on the Abracon website. The work brought the shopping path into the wider product experience.
Discover
Understand the route from product evaluation to purchasing.
Integrate
Coordinate the DigiKey commerce product with Abracon’s website.
Launch
Align design, development, SEO, and content for release.
Delivery
What the work produced
The e-commerce implementation launched on the Abracon website. The project is a concrete example of coordinating a partner commerce capability with a manufacturer’s product and content experience.
The website today
Explore the live experience
The current website gives a view of the product experience. It may include features and content added after my project.
- The current site presents product families and a parametric search for narrowing parts.
- It provides inventory and distributor routes alongside product information.
- A live “Shop Abracon Online” entry point invites visitors to explore the catalog and purchase online.
